i think that bmw-m has a valid point, honestly... although his delivery leaves much to be desired.

the fact of the matter is, the self-proclaimed 'cool people' on this board are acting just as childish, if not worse, than the ricers. that's right... and i've met many of you, and/or been around longer. why do i feel this way? really, if you guys would take a step back and look at what you're doing it shouldn't be too hard to figure it out. but i'll spell it out just in case.

anyone who's been around the car scene in this area for more than 6 months and has half a brain should be able to realize what is and isn't rice... emphasis on 'should'. unfortunately, there are still many, many people who just can not seem to find a clue as to taste or tact when modifying their vehicles. be that as it may, it really is not anyone's concern what they do to their cars. as long as they're doing it amongst themselves, the worst anyone who doesn't agree with their style has to put up with is seeing the garbage on the road.

the fact that you guys decide to take it upon yourselves to inform these people in a not-so-friendly way really doesn't speak too highly on your own level of maturity, on top of just asking for trouble that is really senseless and unnecessary.

and yeah, duh... i used to (and still probably do for that matter) be quick to point out what looks like shit and when people are being stupid on this board. but then only when asked, or the stupidity is tremendous... i'm not going to go out of my way to track these people down and tell them they're ricers. that would be almost just as bad as... hanging out in a parking lot blasting my stereo and doing burnouts.
