anybody ever heard of this place or eatin there my buddy wants to go there and i have never heard of it before he mentioned it. have any of you guys been there before if so how was it and what do you recommend

 

don't go there. if you're going to be in town center anyway, i'd reccoment the red star tavern, i think its called. much nicer place, and pretty much the same priced drinks/entrees

 

come out on thursdays for college night. $1.50 land sharks and bud light

 

I used to go for sundays 400lbs of wings for cheap special.

Umm no Red Star is exspensive and full of old people with loud music and no dance floor.

Firkin as its called has a younger crowd, better priced food with a really good burger too. Cheaper beer and friendlier atmosphere. Also firkin does football when its on and has a pool table and dart boards.

i went to firkin a while back, they have good, food, but this was right after city center was "new"

so im sure it was couple years ago...but they still had good food.

 

Red star is ok but you can't compare it to Firken. Firken=friendly local bar atmosphere. Red Star=upscale TGI Friday's.
