why?

can we at least get a last ride in? I'm working on figuring out what's causing an issue with mine right now, but I'd like to go on a ride with ya before you get rid of it (assuming you're not replacing it with something else). lets go!

Congratulations! Local, I assume?

I can't say that I blame you. I know what you mean about sacrificing things you love to make room for bigger and better things. I sold the GTI and bought a car with pocket change to prepare for bigger and better things next year. What area did you buy in?

Thanks!

Yup, locally, it's a house back behind Ole Monterey Golf Club. I'm sure gonna miss riding and the bike, but really, lately, I haven't had much of a chance at all to ride. I probably haven't even put on 1,000 miles on the thing this summer!

I hear you. You've definitely got your priorities straight, so thumbs up.

I haven't been able to ride that much this season either. Done more standing around than riding, unfortunately. Used to do the group rides twice every weekend, but after several people crashed trying to ride faster than they were capable, I decided it's not worth it. I'll save the pushing hard for the track, you know?

I have a buddy that lives over there behind the golf course. He lives in some neighborhood off of Old Mountain Rd if I recall correctly. Did you guys pick up a house that needs work, or did you find out that was exactly what you wanted? It's you and your girl right? Getting seeeeerious!

Man... We're all getting old.

Marriage and standing around... Sounds like a bunch of old folks.

Thanks man, I can imagine, seeing a few wrecks would definitely make me think twice hehe..

We were lucky enough to find one that was in great condition, ended up getting a pretty good deal on it, I'm pretty excited. We gave em 7 weeks to move out though b/c they were looking for a house too, so the wait is gonna KILLL me lol..

Getting old can be fun. I miss being younger, and "the good old days" of being carefree.. but having your own place to do whatever you want can be great too.

Garen's gonna have a kiddie pool in the living room so he can swim laps in front of the tv! lol. You know, that's actually an interesting idea. I wonder if they would consider it an indoor pool if they appraised your house, and if the value would go up accordingly

I miss be younger also, as this age is stressful. But it is nice to be older and be able to experience a lot and do whatever.

Still, I'm nt looking forward to standing around. Losing your hair yet?
