Default Any interest in DIY Spray in bedliner?

Has anyone sprayed in their own liner before? I've been looking at this guy on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SPRAY...spagenameZWDVW

His feedback is pretty good and I've read that it isn't too tough of a job to do, it's just a matter of doing enough prep. Would anyone else be interested in doing their truck? One small catch though, I don't have a garage or yard that I can do this sort of work in....

I'd prefer to do it on my own. I'm sure the cost will bill $700+ if I pay someone else to do it (van's are bigger and more prep work intensive than a truck bed).

I'm surprised no one has any interest in doing their vehicle. I will be placing my order later this week, if someone wants to order at the same time to save on shipping let me know.

A big factor in DIY bedliners is that you prep correctly. Most of the kits that you buy just give you a scotch brite pad for prepping and thats about it.

This is a full size van. I think the interior is about 14 feet long, so I would assume the price would jump up a lot. If I can pay a reasonable price I'd be willing to have someone else do it- I just don't want to shell out mega bucks , I'm trying to save money on any part of this project I can.

I have a dynazip that I think should work to rough up the paint and then it's just a matter of cleaning up the mess before spraying it in.

I'm hoping to do it myself. That eBay kit comes with the gun and has enough to do my van. My biggest obstacle right now is the lack of a place to do it. The military bases won't allow any sanding, grinding or painting and I have no garage or yard here to do it in. I have a compressor, stripping tool and soon I'll have the spray in kit- just no place to do the work.

Worse case scenario I'll borrow a generator and go out to a remote location with my tools and spray it there.

I've been out there with a wire wheel stripping away and was wondering if paint strippers are not to be used? There is a funny mixture of dirt, carpet glue and unknown dried fluids that need to be removed and it's pretty slow with an electric tool. The wire wheel works ok, but it doesn't handle the glue all that well.

So what about various strippers or cleaners? Is there anything that will work quickly and not leave a residue that will screw me when it comes to spraying in bedliner? Anyone know how the shops prep a messy bed?
