i got 6k on my teg i never got puled over . my boy has i duno 10 K ? he never got pulled over lol these days cops don't really pay much attention to our head lights. just make sure you adjust them right instead of showing all in the air in peoples eyes.... talking about that i still need to adjust mine lol
as long as you have projectors, you should be fine with the police. if you are putting an hid kit on a car without projector headlights, then you would be blinding people on the road since the beam will be everywhere.

a lot of these guys have projectors, in non projectors the light is not a beam and kinda sprays everywhere, you will be fine if you are 2-3 cars back of a cop, but come closer you might have problems
