Yeah being that dsmlink allows me to just plant the throttle, at the line and during shifting makes it alot easier. You won't hear the BOV when I'm shifting hard; the throttle body plate doesn't close because I'm not letting off the throttle so the BOV doesn't open.

Anyone down for a Bristol dragway test & tune? I'm tired of bench racing and guesstimating my 1/4 mile time and trap speed.

Have you tried the racing calculators I posted earlier...tciauto.com

can do 1/4 to 1/8 or 1/8 to 1/4

Now how accurate it is I dunno

ugh.
Me too. I was sitting there thinking the whole time... "Damn, I could be out there right now."

And I was sitting on those wooden bleachers closest to the entrance the whole time.

Saw your car. Then I saw the regular tires and said, "Damn... He must have taken the turbo off." Haha...

This calculation I made up usually seems pretty spot on:

1/4 mile ET = 1/8 mile ET + (1/8 mile ET / 2) + x

FWD, x=.4
RWD, x=.5
AWD, x=.6

For street cars with street tires, obviously assuming traction.

I'm not sure about that. My WRX ran a best ET of 8.04 at Natural Bridge. Going by that math, my 1/4 mile ET would be mid 12's.

8.04 + 4.02 + .6 = 12.66

My car wasn't exactly slow, but I don't think it was a mid 12 second car. Low 13's maybe. I'm pretty sure it was too heavy to run in the 12's.

Actually, that is damn close. Low 8's is good for upper-mid 12's (in AWD).

Sorry I didn't have my car out there. I snapped a timing belt on Monday, put a new one on Thursday, but it had bent the exhaust valves in #6...
I was really happy to see so many fast street cars out there. I really didn't get to see any of the Q8 races though because I was down in staging the whole time..
