I have a similar set up near Fairfax Corner paying the same for a 2bdrm w/garage attached. I can't live anywhere that doesn't have a decent garage.

true, but you can find nice places here that won't run you that much more than living in some 1970's box apartment in centreville or something. it's worth the little bit extra a month.
