Newport news isnt that bad as long as you stay away from certain parts (most of downtown,warwick lawns, dresden dr., etc.) and the wierd thing is that the ghetto parts are not in one area, they could be in a certain spot then next door would be a good neighborhood.

 

yep, nn is actaully a pretty decent place

What about Kiln Creek, Hidenwood, Menchville, Lakeside, Harpersville, Hilton, Riverside, Merry Point, Deer Park, along Kingstowne Dr.? There are worse places than Newport News, not saying its a great place, but really....it's not as bad as you all make it.

 

Im not a racist, but I can't deny the facts...the more blacks...the more problems.

 

Man, it's gonna suck ass for V.Beach if they ever get a long with those monorails and what not. Then all those poor as people can start comming over here to look for jobs they'll never show up to. I think the only way to resolve the whole, VB getting shitty is to up property value and up requirements for jobs <also to pay them more>. I heard something crazy from my cousin the other day in the Philipines, to work at McD's you have to be a college student or have been one no wonder it was the nicest one I've ever been to. If we pulled something like that here, things would be a lot different. I started helping out at schools, cause I want to become a teacher... or wanted... it's only been 3 years since I've gotten out of highschool. Last year, 12 grade english, all I have to say is wow...can't wait till I start... I actually thing I'ma grab my masters and just run.
