Hey all, Does anyone know whats a good shop that can install some new pistons in my jdm itr motor? And how much does it usually run for a job like this? Thanks for the help.

Im smoking alot during vtec which is due to rings mosts likely but was thinking about putting in some fresh ones bc the motor was previously boosted and I have not clue what condition they are in. And was thinking of putting in some ctr pistons to up the compression to bout 12.5.

have you run a leakdown test? i will garuntee you need to overbore the motor if you want it to last. just putting new pistons/rings will work short term. spend the money once and have a safe new motor. otherwise, you'll continue to smoke
