Default coilover conversion question.

don't know if this is in the right place. i finally got my kit in and i need advice. i bought a coilover conversion kit (springs and adjusters) and have never done the springs on a car before. i have looked over my Haynes manual and basically understand what to do. but don't know if it would be better to buy new shocks(stock) or keep the originals. the car is a 99 civic with about 90k on it. what do you think? if you have any tips for me they would be appreciated. thanks

Buy aftermarket shocks with coilovers the stockers will be blown in a month new or not.

you need to buy some gas struts, like kyb, tokico, drop zone etc... but u need to make sure to get gas struts. liquid struts will blow

I recommend Koni adjustables (the yellow ones) I used them and they were great, not too mention not too expensive.

Koni yellows are awesome. They are the only struts I will buy again, unless I get some custom ones.

YES!! Get new struts. DO NOT put the coiloivers on without them

nrg. there defiantly not the best but i will upgrade eventually. gonna start auto x soon and don't wanna go all out before i know i really like it.
