I don't want to say anything disrespectful because unfortunately someone may have paid the ultimate price for something foolish, but I believe they said he was doing wheelies the wrong way down the return lane. Happens all the time, but all it takes is once... I would imagine Natural Bridge will have to tighten down the ship, so to speak. I hate that it happened. Despite whatever it was that he was doing, no one deserves that. On top of that, his wife and child were supposedly there.
Wow... That's horrible.

Yeah... Pretty awful for everyone involved.

Imagine being the person on the fourwheeler though. Even though he wasn't in the wrong, I'd have a hard time dealing with it...

I know. I'm more or less just giving you a hard time...

So what's your setup anyway? What kind of power are you expecting, and what kind of times would you expect? I know that's bench racing, but I'm still curious as to what all this talk is about

All of the cars I am talking about are streetable cars, but aren't driven around because the owners have no reason to waste so much gas.

The T/A runs low 9's all motor, the FC runs low 10's all motor and has a 200 shot of nitrous. The Neon is around 550 whp, the Supra around 700 whp, and the mustangs around 500-600.

Run Tim Arrington's Vette. He should be a good race for you.

i would like to break 700awhp no nitrous, or get as colse to that as i can. im really not so concerned with times at the track, i would like to break into the 6s and then ill stop. again this is a dd(for the most part). setup is a 2.3l with a gt37r, aem ems, alky, ect ect. i just want a badass car that i can drive almost everyday that will scare the shit out of me and still get 25+mpg with ac.

Call me crazy, but it sounds like you're playing with fire.. lol.

You want 25+ mpg in a 700hp 4-cylinder? ...and this is supposed to be a daily driver? What ever happened to modesty? lol. I'm not saying it's not possible, because it's surely possible to make that kind of power with your motor and setup, but I wouldn't expect reliability or driveability, personally.

700hp is on a full race gas tune, it will not be that high of a # just buzzing around town. also i have the honda now for reliability well see that happens.

I'm surely not very knowledgable when it comes to DSMs, but 700 awhp sounds like a hell of a lot for a 37r. Almost 900 crank hp...

Sounds like a lot, but maybe I'm wrong. Wouldn't be the first time.

25+mpg is nothing, I get about 28-29 on the interstate. Daily driver is not bad at all, just not running the full 30+psi all the time. When you have a car that doesen't fully spool till after 5k rpm theres no need to be winding it out on the road.

Driveability is no problem, so long as you are running a proper size injector and a good person at the keyboard with lots of time and knowledge the car can be smooth as butter and make you wonder why you had the stock ecu to begin with.

Reliability will be no problem so long as you keep your eyes on everything(including maitenance) and look out for any potential problem. When you get a 4cyl to 700hp you've changed and damn near messed with everything under the hood, and things are routed differently and in diff spots than the factory design. Just need to be sure and look often to catch a potential problem.

The clutches aren't fun for a daily though
