I heard prison food was good..... but being that I must have heard that from someone who was A full of shit and has never been, or B someone who went to jail.

That's because you're a minor. Same thing happened to me junior and senior year.

But I think we can all agree that..... at least we aren't the ones with the $991 fine and $3000 fine being mailed to us!!!

 

I've seen people lose their jobs because they lost their security clearance after a trip to jail resulting from a traffic infraction. I was worried after getting one reckless ticket.

And how did the OP pre-pay a reckless ticket? OOS resident or not, I still think they have to appear in court...

Chances are very good he'll get another one relatively soon, and be back on here crying about it some more. He obviously feels he got away with it, so that will instill arrogance that the consequences aren't severe enough for deterrence. No we don't. You ask a question to us, whom are not lawyers, what we feel he's going to get from a reckless driving ticket. The likelihood of him getting assraped by "the system" is high. And speaking from indirect experience from friends of mine, reckless driving in VA = possible jail, suspended license, impounding of car, etc. Especially if your driving record is shit.

 

If he does get another one, and gets arrested, I hope he resists. "Don't taser me bro!"
