I'd talk more shit but I can only say so much when my trans is on the garage floor.. haha..

For real though, nobody gives a fuck about your boy's car, some car you saw while on vacation 2 states away one time, or some car from a video. If you don't own a car that is in the same league as the ones being discussed you shouldn't be in this conversation at all. Your boys, and the other cars, can speak for themselves. I also find it hilarious that some of you guys suggest Brian race shit that is nearly unstreetable. A turbo bike? Get real. 900hp Drag truck? If a 900whp drag truck has to race a 4 cyl street car to get satisfaction he might as well hang himself. That's like a high schooler trying to play little league. Find a car to race him on the same suspension geometry (i.e. no 4 link) and tire setup, and I can promise you that as long as he can avoid malfunction it's going to be a long time before anyone finds something faster on the street, and chances are, when they do... it'll be another DSM
Ha!

He's the one that mentioned racing a 1000cc or a Hayabusa. There are plenty of both... There's nothing AT ALL unstreetable about turbo bikes with a proper tune. In fact, one of them rides his daily.

No one is dissing Brian's car at all. I thought it was bad ass before it got the new turbo. I was just saying that even though it might be one of the fastest street cars in Roanoke, you don't have to go far to find a faster car.

I had one that would put up a fight with him. All I was saying. On the street on its current setup, he'd have a handful. I don't own it anymore, very true. What I said was only speculation. Sorry, but I'm not "badass" enough to talk shit about people who don't have fast cars anymore.

Anyway, the whole point was to find him someone to race. I have a few friends who would race him if he wanted to.

Same tire setup though? So you're saying we should limit tire so the AWD has an advantage? So let me guess, no VHT on the road?

I have a few cars that will run him on D/R's with stockish IRS suspensions on the street with the use of VHT. The T/A is a streetable drag car but really isn't a fair run because it is on slicks and run's low 9's all motor. I like a fair race and wouldn't look for something way out of his league.

I like DSM's. However, even on the street, they aren't cars that are holding "King of the Street" titles.

Exactly. They were talking about running bikes.

And yes, turbo bikes are very streetable.

BTW, Zero, if you got a nice turbo Busa with a good driver that wants a run, a guy from down here is looking for a run. Street car looking for a 60-80 roll.

Thats stupid. Its a street race. That means you pull up next to eachother on the street and go. Not get out and soak the road down with liquid traction.

A street race is just that. You find eachother and pull up next to em. Then roll.

Eh, that's arguable. Most of the big money races in the hardcore street racing capitals of the world usually spray VHT and torch it to get it sticky, but of course it's organized street racing--not Roanoke GoMart GangstaKrewz.

If it were me, I'd want every advantage I could get. Traction is an important advantage.
