let make a car specific thread(dsmers)
I hear he is good, just not very knowledgable about newer stuff.
My experience:
"Aluminum block? Ah hell, I haven't worked on one of those. Well, we can bore it as much as you want. Hell, .40 over +."
That was a LS1 I took to him. .40 over? Ha. If you know anything about LS1's, you know that isn't smart.
I've had a fair amount of work done by Hudson's in the past. They do really good work at not so bad prices, even if they don't know all the specs. Just take the engine in there with explicit details and specs on what you want done.
after seeing what hudsons did to a allens 6 bolt, ill never take anything to them again. i took my head there and there were not very helpfull at all. they just didnt seem like they wanted to work with me
shepherds all the way

Shepards did a pretty good job when they put together my 2g pistons/1g big rods..fast turnaround and a good price
I've had Terry Walters do some work for me in the past. I've been very pleased with the work. Not sure about price, though. Friend of a friend thing so I didn't pay full price.

BTW, the AEM(not sure which one they use, NTK maybe?) sensors tend to not last as long as others(bosch lsu2)...
