It's advertised as 285 CRANK hp not wheels. Mine makes 265 hp and 255 tq to the wheels with bolt on's and tuning. The newer 07's with the HR motor are putting down 265 hp stock, with less torque though.

270's are not hard and there are those who have broken the 300 hp mark NA with $$$ and time. To be honest the majority of Z owners who want HP just go FI and make 400-500hp.

 

350z's are slow.. but s2k's are slower.. i drive neither. though i am considering a 350z.

 

Why? You just said yourself they are slow.

 

This forum is going to be honda biased - both similar, yet night and day differnt. What do you like, dislike about each? I noticed you also said something about a backseat? How about a G35 6spd Coupe?

because i'd like a rwd car as my next car. and that's in the price range. they look reasonably good too. don't get me wrong, i think S2k's are hot, but i couldn't drive one unless it had a proper engine. a 4 banger no matter how much HP litre and how high it revs just doesn't do it for me.. i actually some day want to put an S54 in an s2k ..that's the type of engine the S2K should have come with.

 

let's be honest. the M3 would walk all over those cars if homey wasn't drifting every corner and hanging in the back for the first 3 laps.

 

Why is that? The M3 is heavier and pushes badly on track in stock form. Havent had any problems passing E46's on track, excpet for the heavily modded ones. E36's are much more impressive on track than the E46.

 

Get a 350Z.
