So the 2 vans who got in an accident were traveling on the other side of the road? I guess by your amazingly brilliant logic, the biker would have died regardless....

Yeah...the fact that he was lane splitting and catching air on the bridge had nothing to do with it. Damn people running out of gas.

I bet you are one of the bikes i see doing 120 in the HoV, and the ones that ride cars ass's, and weave in and out of traffic. Everyone, in a car, or in a bike, has a duty to pay fucking attention while operating a vehicle, un-seen circumstances happen on the daily, tire re treads in the road, traffic comming to a stop, deers running out into the road, etc. If you are not speeding, or doing something unlawful, id say 95% of the time, you will be able to stop and avoid an accident.

Lets say this was a small sports car, and a van had pulled off into the shoulder, but the car saw traffic stopping so he hits the gas and gets in the HoV, rear ends the van, turns into a crispy critter, would you get on here and bitch at the van? I meen seriously, just because we are on bikes, doesn't meen every accident is a cagers fault, if anything we should drive MORE cautiously, and if traffic is stopped, and you have an emergency, and you are going to lane split, slowly go in between the lanes to get around it, you dont need to do 100mph through traffic, that is just asking for trouble.

Wow people got some real vaginal pain from what I said. I never put sole blame on the van, I agree that spliiting lanes at a high rate of speed is incredibly stupid. All I'm saying that an accident between 2 vans + reckless riding caused this death. If you take away the first part of the equation, it's possible that rider could still be alive. You people need some pussy and calm down. RIP.
