Actually the Z car has been made without stop till the Z32 in 99. Then it went away for 3 years and the 350z came out.

And the S doesn't have the heritage as the Z car does. The Z, the Vette, etc.

I will not argue that the 'Z' has heritage/racing heritage, etc., but for you to say that the 'S' has no heritage in racing, or heritage in general...is just completely rediculous. Please, do some more research on the S600 and S800.

Oh, and dont even try to compare Nissan racing heritage to Honda racing heritage.

I'm under the impression, thought I may be incorrect, that Honda was the first Japanese make to compete in Formula 1. That is where the s2000's heritage lays. I know Toyota and Mazda compete in F1, does Nissan?

 

Okay, so was that car ever available in the states? The Z was.

 

Argue about heritage all you want. Who gives a shit. We're talking about the here and the now. And the poll specifically shows that there are twice as much people on this board, so far, that would prefer an S2k over a Z. And throughout the thread there are tons and tons of different reasons as to why the s2k may just be a whole lot more fun to drive than a Z.

And to say the S2k is slow compared to a Z is just fucking stupid. I don't have many problems with Z's in my S2k. And moving from a lightly modded Evo to an S2k, I still don't feel as though the s2k is slow.

 

Only shows that because of Honda Fanbois. We have more of them here than anything else.

 

Like I said, once a S2k can do a 107 mph trap and a 13.2~ stock, let us know. It is almost 1 sec slower and 7mph slower in the 1/4 to the Z.
