Help:350z or S2000
Honda seems to be more into reliability than performance. Reason why we have yet to get any RWD cars. I wished my TL at least had AWD, but my RL does. Anyways, I am not gonna continue this discussion anymore. I think we have talked it out enough.
Did you know the creator of the S2k was the same person who created the Type-R, NSX, and obviously the S2k? Did you know the CR was built for himself as a gift because he is leaving the company. Did you know Honda did it so you can also buy one.
Oh wait, since the creator is leaving, then I guess the S2k is leaving too. Only makes sense at the moment.

Come on man, you're really looking for something here. Who cares if the "father of the S2000" is leaving? How does that change the product that he already made? It doesn't. What does it matter if Honda discontinues the S2000? Does that make the ones that are already out suck?
No. You're arguing points that hold no weight.
You're also defending parts of the 350Z to people that aren't arguing against. If you put a Nismo 350Z and an S2000CR on the racetrack, which one is usually going to be quicker around the track? Honestly, the 350Z. 60+ hp is hard to argue with.
How many times do most 350Z people take their car to the track and race an organized event against S2000s? It'll hardly ever happen. So that leaves us with which car do we as a group prefer as a street car. The answer is overwhelmingly "S2000".
Other than looks, I've got nothing against 350Zs. I like them. I'd enjoy owning one. However, in my opinion, the S2000 is a more enjoyable car to own in the long run so it gets my vote.
I like convertibles, I prefer sports cars over GT style cars, and I REALLY like the way S2000s look over 350Zs. That's what's important to me, so that's what gets my vote.
Call me a Honda nuthugger if you want. but keep in mind that if you do, you're no different for Nissans.
And the S2000 is NOT made in the USA. JHMAP11....etc!
I just hated the interior of the 350, from 2,000-4/5,000rpms the 350z was a lot faster, but all together it didn't feel faster at all. 3rd gear to 100mph felt the same as in my s2000(you should of seen the look on the dealer's face!!! HAHA). The interior is just UGLY, there isn't a prominent dash and everything feels cluttered. The S2000 was designed with the diver in mind and everyone else in second..... if at all. Everything is hidden away, there are very few things to distract you.... like a/c controls, audio, random gauge thingy that shows you how horrible your 350z is wasting gas. The cluster is F1 all the way. When you see that arch light up
and the push button ignition is pure sex.I have to say, if I didn't have a hardtop I don't think I would like the car as much.
Now the car was Honda's 50th anniversary car(1949-99). They wanted it to be all F1 (open air, crazy high RL, in wheel suspension, push button start, digital gauges, etc). The guy who designed the car wants to leave the next generation s2000 and NSX to the next generation of designers. He was instrumental in the DC Type-R, NSX and S2000. The CR was his farewell gift. He's retiring not quitting, but just because he's gone doesn't mean there isn't more to come.
I had no idea you were a member of this site.
And..... I wish I had a cool point to make, but alas I don't. Just suprised to see you on this site.
Ridgeline is AWD not RWD. NSX I forgot about, it is RWD on that car.
It may not feel faster because it's smoother and has a better powerband than trying to push the engine to 8k trying to make the power.

Thought it has been discontinued.... so was the NSX, built by Honda sold by Acura, and, though it is not a car, I believe the Ridgeline comes in RWD.
