probably, but you wont get far.

since your using a LS block, you might want to invest in a LS crank, and LS rods.

i have a set of CTR pistons mounted on LS rods for 220$, also have a block, crank

there you go.

PM me for more details.

ok? quick question?

WHY would you go LS/VTEC if you going to use a GSR crank, R rods, and R pistons?

why not just go BEAST/vtec

that makes "ZERO" fucking sense?

If you're going to build it for drag racing, cost.
The LS block doesn't have squirters to remove. The upgraded parts will fit. Minimal machine work. LS block can be had for $100 or less. GSR block ~$300. GSR/LS crank, usually similar cost. Most want to upgrade rods in an LS for high rev anyhow, so, using a factory high RPM setup is cheaper than aftermarket, and strong enough for most N/A setups......

If you're going to be building it anyhow...why not?

Quick question, isnt ls/vtec done because of the ls bottom end? Im not 100% percent sure but im quessing that ls stroke is a lot shorter, which increases compression with aided pistons. If im wrong then call it but thats what i always thought?

mainly b/c you could have spent the money on a GSR/R block, and it would of all had VTEC, putting vtec internals in a non-vtec block is pretty dumb.

LS's have a 89mm stroke, vs. b16's with have 77.4mm stroke, and GSR's which have 87.2mm stroke.

you do the math, LS rods are weaker, b/c they are longer.

your opinion is your opinion, but to me its just retarded.
