does anyone know if the SR20 comes in automatic???? just a random question that poped in my head

 

I believe they do (not sure if theres an SR20 Auto) But there was one thats had a sr20 swap and he had used the ka's stock automatic transmission although they did have to do some modifications to make it work, This was like 3 years ago so its probably a lil easier now(not that alott of people do Automatics anyways). It was a shop in California, maybe v-spec which im not even sure if they are still open nowadays. I know he has since swapped it to 5spd to go into drifting events. I read it in Super Street/Import Tuner.

 

And are you talking the fwd/awd or rwd sr20 I know the awd pulsars came in automatics

 

They definitely make a SR20DE in automatic, I don't see why you couldn't put one of those transmissions on a SR20DET.

 

They made RWD SR20DET's in automatic. The old Pacific Rim S13 originally competed in D1 with an auto trans before they switched to a standard.

Actually, to make it easier for you, if it's a Nissan with a factory SR anything engine, it can be mated to an auto transmission for the relevant drivetrain.

 

yes they make them automatic, my car came auto with an sr20det, its an s13 by the way

 

yea actually they did i wasnt sure neither but i was lookin on a site and pricing motors and strans and it had the auto sr20 trans
