I guess you are talking to me?
im supposed to come back around april/may
im not really looking to spend more than 18k...I will have more than that..but atleast 5k is going to investments, and I also want to have some left over for personal spending.
from what ive seen, used STI's are like 19-23k..and im really not trying to spend a shitload of my deployment money on a car.

ohh yea..for the record..I will NEVER buy a mitsubishi in my lifetime.Ive owned a chysler conquest tsi, which was possibly the worst decision, and worst POS car ive ever owned, and I wont ever buy a DSM again.
Im currently on deployment and when I return,I plan on getting an 04-05 WRX.My mind is pretty much made up,but I just need to get some more information.Ive been doing research here and there, but I figure I could get info from owners and their personal experiences.
Basically,I want to build around 300-350 awhp.Nothing too serious, just something to run mid low 12's,but still be majorly streetable.Whats the pro's and cons of owning one,and what are the best initial mods to do to the car upon buying one?
Thanks. Also,if anyone has any extra input (topic related),feel free,im all about learning, and getting more knowledge and information.

i agree. but i used to own a 05 before my 07 and the performance of the 2.5L is a great step up from the 2.0l. You can make the hawkeyes look sex too man.

I dont know dawg...having second thoughts...lol I guess this is what happens when you get too many opinions.I mean I want an STI..I just dont want to throw away a big percentage of my money,on a fucking car.Im done with that stage of my life..Im still in the game..im just being smarter about it now.
