Default coyotes...

How crazy would I really be if I said a coyote just ran out in front of me? I just looked them up and they can be found in the eastern US. anyone seen one around here or know anything to back up/disprove my claims?

Are you sure it was not a fox? Did it look like this? This little guy used to frequent my backyard in the spring/summer.

no it wasnt a fox, trust me I see those all the time. smaller dog type, thick greyish coat, darker paws and legs, tail low. I saw it on the side of the road and my natural instinct it to floor it whenever theres a potential animal to hit. It ran out in front of me and I was maybe 2 seconds away so I got a good ass look at it.

I almost hit them all the time here in Colorado. We have less deer (and much bigger) but many more foxes and coyotes.
