I know, I've been in PPM electronics for 8.5 years. The Thing that makes Fios so great is that it's fiber is unlimited bandwidth, only limited by the electronics on either end. As long as you have it from the office to the house, you never have to upgrade the plant, just the stuff on the ends.

I must say now that I have it hooked up and running. Shit is the best I think. I am getting 15.6 m when i go on speakeasy.net from @ router then 12 m's on the laptop.

Tv is clear. So clear I dont care if it is HD or not. And the DVR multi room is a must. It use's one main box to record but you can watch it in any room you have another box. Tv guide display is going to take some time to get used to but i like the way the channels are all in order. IE all my kids stuff is 220 and up no back and forth to find them anymore. Easy for kids. I have only 8 channels playing in my boys rooms thanks to the parental controls.

Phone is phone no differ. So hmmmmmm...................... good i guess maybe it rings faster? LMAO j/k

So if anyone wants it PM me, the guy who hooked mine up was pretty fast at it (2 hrs) and knows some people that take orders and backdoor the 1 month wait for install.

Of course the phone rings faster. The FiOS rings at 45K cycles while cox only rings at around 22K cycles.

Lol.... kidding of course.

Only 15? I thought it would be higher.

I get 18-20 mb depending on the server on Speakeasy with my ordinary Cox HSI package.

are you sure?

8am on cox I was only running 3.4

first test on fiOs was the 15. I can tell a huge differ.

Plus I am guessing that on the drop of my old cox there was a lot of people on the same one. I live in a older section of the city.

The installer actually gave me a little section of the fiber line. It is unreal how a fiber smaller than my hair can carry Web, TV and phone faster than a reg copper line.

Yep, all day every day.

What city are you in?

The lowest I get is 10mb on Speedtest from the Atlanta server, but it's back up to 19mb from the New York one.
