According to edmunds the GT-R would punish the new Porsche 911 turbo let alone a Viper or ZO6. This thing is an absolute beast 0-60 in 3.3 seconds with factory launch control. And it blasts thru the quarter mile in 11.6 seconds at 120 mph. My god i wish i had 70,000 bucks

 

These are here already. Just had a friend go down to Miami and there was one on display at the mall from one of their local dealerships. It was already sold and accounted for though.

The gtr came from nissan touting to be a 911 and z06 killer.. Don't compare what??

 

Actually they purposely called it a corvette killer (base model) not a Z06 killer (Motor Trend cover). Looks to be an interesting car.

As far as the graphs show- Look at the torque differences @ 2-3K rpm. I'm not hating on the GTR at all.....I kinda like it. Simple physics: The 3150lbish, 500 hp car will walk the 3800lbish, 500 hp car. BUT- the AWD launch will own the Z06 initially. I believe the performance of the GTR is very close to the new Porsche Turbo.
