need my hood painted and color matched.
i also want to take a vote so see how thinks i just buy a new hood and have it color matched,or buy a carbon fiber hood?Opinions please.
if you dont have the color code and your certain its not the stock color, you should probably get it scanned with the matching camera to figure out the closest formula possible. it can be tweaked from there if its a little darker or lighter after spraying if your totally against blending the fenders. but it would be alot better if you did blend.or get a carbon fiber jammy.

Let me tell you this. As the original owner doing any work to the car.
The car is STOCK paint.
The ONLY parts that have been repainted when I owned it were:
Trunk (where shaved)
Door handles
Side moldings
The rest is stock paint. The fenders and bumpers are stock paint.
That is what taking care of a car will do to paint. Since I sold it, it has gone downhill.
Jeff at DreamWorks, used the stock color code, looked up the direct mix of paint, and resprayed the parts above.
