Default GSR B18C1 OBD2 Turbo, Chrome...No Spark!

I just changed out my block on a 2000 OBD2 GSR turbo tuned on chrome

Finally got everything put together.

Motor turns over fine but no spark and the main relay keeps making noises

It cant be my Distributer... I just changed it out last Febuary....I changed out the Main Relay yesterday and still nothing.

I really think that i have a connector hooked up in the wrong place.

But I spent 5hrs today playing with it and nothing.

Any ideas?

+1.

Check your grounds, mainly the thermostat ground. Check your connectors on your distribtor. Check your connections at the ECU.

Connections to ecu and dissy are fine. I just noticed the dissy cap got pushed on when transporting the engine so i am going to change that out monday and we will see. Then I will check the coil. Thanks for all the helpfull information I will post something monday if neither one of these suggestions work.

Hey whats up guys I did some test on his car trying to figure out why theres no spark.. The final test led me to a bad coil I think. I did a test on the on the primary resistance of the coil and got 1.4 when the book says it should be between .6 - .8..What do yall thik should he get a new coil? That dizzy was replaced last year so I dont know how the coil would be bad? Any help would be great

I wouldn't assume anything is wrong yet, your multimeter could be slightly inaccurate, there could be a small bit of corrosion, etc., causing a slightly higher reading. 1.4 ohms is still low enough that I'd look elsewhere for a problem until something points you back to the coil..
