Dude i almost have mine up and running perfectly.

If you and I have everything going well with our cars would you want to do some pulls this weekend? Do you have a race gas file for your setup, or will you just put race gas in and crank the boost/timing?

What do you think you'll put down on pump? Is your 450whp goal on race gas or what?

Keep in mind, you two, im about 5000 lbs heavier than both of you...the only edge I may have in any situation is torque and very short spool time, but once you both spool its over.

5000 lbs, lol, its not that bad. I weigh in at prolly 34-3500 with me and all the random bullshit thats usually in the car. Both of you guys will have spool on me, I get good boost in the 4-45 neighborhood. I know the 50/2.4 will do way better, as well as the skoal can powered 2.7


Neways, at about 24-25psi ( I usually run 23-24 though) the car put down 450-460 wheel horse, pretty repeatedly. I'd guestimate with my fatter self-tune and the tad lower boost its at least a 440-450 wheel horse. About 400 tq too

BTW, on c16 the car falls off badly up top. I've not found the restriction yet but I think I have my finger on it. It squeeked out 580 for about 1k rpm, then plummeted. Had it kept going it would have been over 6. Gotta find that restriction! However, I'm about to change turbo's soon to something a tad different(not bigger), so we'll see.

Sounds like you're about 200lbs heavier than I am. Im around 3600, I think Casey will have the weight advantage overall.

Which turbo are you going with, are you switching to a smaller one for better streetability?

 

Its doin really good,im still playin with the boost,ive got to put my other wastegate spring in and get it to where it will hold 15 psi,as of now with the other spring its on 9psi.It should all be good by this weekend,the 450whp goal is on standalone with alchohol injection...I have neither at this point.

getting back to the meet part of this thread...I see that there was a pretty nice turnout for the Vadriven meet, but it was on the east coast. We should make plans for a Western meet sometime to put faces behind all the losers in this region. Anybody else up for it, possibly in the spring?
