Paint Booths
I've already talked to MORE IMPATIENT about this, but I wanted to make a post just to cover all my bases.
I need a paint booth, either rent it, let me use it for free, or whatever. I'm painting my whole car and I don't want to have to tape off my garage with plastic, not to mention it'll yield much better results out of a real deal booth. If anyone has anything or knows of a place I can paint my car please let me know.
MORE IMPATIENT mentioned a place off Military Highway that rented but he could not remember the name. If someone knows that place I'd appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.
PS, I know there are shops that will paint my car for me. But I'm not paying someone to do it unless they're willing to tape it off and spray it for around 100 bucks, and actually have PJs they can show me. From my experience with painting my bumpers the hard part is the prep and taping, not spraying.

Yeah I'm buying the paint, all the supplies and prepping it, so I just need the booth! Haha, I just want to make it clear I'm not directly replying to you. I don't want to sound like an ass and say there isn't any skill to painting a car, I am just happy with my skill level and would rather not pay someone for show quality paint on a car I'm taking to track events.
Ill talk to the guy at my bar (hes at a place right off of Military) .... if not, ill talk to my buddy who is painting my other car right now about getting in there.
Is everything already prepped? He may be able to let you in there for a couple hours during the night or something, but they have a lot of cars that have to be in the building at night when he closes the door.

It currently isn't prepped, I'm willing to work out a time that is good for the person letting me use the booth. I'd prep it and could even tape some of it before I got there.
I'm not sure how possible it would be to pull it in and spray it and leave, since I'm pretty sure it would need to be in there for at least 8 hours. Most shops are closed Sunday and close around 5-6 on Saturday, so if I could do an after hours thing Saturday night, stay there all night, and let it sit until Sunday afternoon/evening it would be best.
