uh, I OWN an S2000 and and almost bought the RX-8 to go with it because it wasn't a convertible and still drove almost exactly like an S2000.

So, let me revise my recommendation... If you need room get an RX-8, if room isn't an issue get an S2000. They are roughly the same price, same performance out of the box and same gas mileage, although the S2000 will cost more on insurance.

The fact that RSX-S is winning over 350Z is ridiculous.

First, before you do anything, get insurance quotes on all thes vehicles. I gaurantee theyre probably higher than you think.

Second, youre not going to find a decent 350z for 15k. Its either salvage, or has something wrong with it. You prolly wont find an RX8 either.

With that being said the srt-4 should be the fastest and most responsive to mods, but it feels cheap.
My favorite would be the s2000. While not as fast or as responsive to mods, it just felt so much better sitting in one than the neon. But, then again you give up a few things, such as a backseat. Can you live with only carrying around one passenger all the time?
It's really all in your preference and what youre looking for. Go with what you want, but make sure you do your homework.

I would pick an '07 350z over all of those.... if you're talking about older 350z's then I would either get that or the srt-4

i dont understand why people HAVE to get a car newer than a certain year.
excellent condition doesnt have anything to do with age, and you could end up having something a lot better than all the ones on your list

Good point...

Older Cars can't be financed for as long and have higher interest rates, so buying a 2001 S2000 will actually have an equal or higher payment than a 2004 S2000...

Extreme example, but that's what I was getting at.
