i am trying to bend my radius/torque arm so that i can stabilize it at a right angle (so i can remove the bolt holding it in place). will the BERNZ-O be able to heat the rod enough for me to bend it? i'm assuming the metal is standard steel. any ideas?
Whatever you're doing, there is a way to do it without having to bend something to get at the bolt..
actually i'm pretty sure that there isnt another way. the rod is broken and it goes through a bushing. when trying to turn the bolt, the entire rod rotates so i need to bend the rod so that when it rotates, it lodges against something so i can release the bolt.
no... dont own one... and i honestly dont think i could fit one in there without removing the bumper but again i could be wrong. would an impact gun prevent rotation of the rod itself?

nope it wont prevent it from spinning but it provides the needed torque and speed to get the nut loose. you have the replacement rod already?
