what upsets me is cnn's sensational captions for their video, "watch sheet-covered bodies strewn across the street." Didnt they have enough hits with the caption "watch the tragic aftermath" BS!

 

I don't even know what to say. I've been out there for those street races as a spectator when visiting friends up there. It is a 90% domestic Crowd and lots of "old Salts" around.

Keep it on the track people. This is why I DO NOT STREET RACE AT ALL!

 

I spoke with acouple of people that were out there last night they said there was acouple of big money races that were supposed to go down but they started bs'in and the little ricers started doing their fun runs. but all of them had left an hour before all this happened. My prayers go out to those who lost their lives last night.

 

Idiots.

If you must street race there's better/safer ways then racing in front of a crowd.

 

Thats the problem out there at that spot everyone is crowded up by the starting line on the side of the road. it impossible to get a run in out there with less than 20 people hangin out at the start. there was an evo that almost went into the crowd acouple of weeks ago while running a hatch.

 

Cartman hit less people...

 

you have to look at this disaster from another point of view though.

those people that were killed were all there at the races, knew the possible danger, but continued to stand on the side of the road. IMO standing onthe sides of drag races to watch is suicidal.

im just pointing out that the people knew what were going on, and racing in that style is stupid.
