Ok here is what i got its a H22a in a 93 civic sedan. Im running a spoon chipped p13 and a external MSD coil. I know its not the ECU i ran a friends chipped P28 tuned for his car and still nothing, I've changed the vtec solinoid. It does throw a code for EGR but im not running it, i have it blocked off. Vtec is wired correctly, and still nothing. It does idle up and down because of the iac, But from what i understand won't cause it not to crack. Other then whats mentioned it runs good and strong. It does have great oil pressure as well above spec. Compresion was about 240 across the board. I can't think of anything else off hand the i've tried, Can anyone give me some ideas or help me out? Thanks for any helpful info!

 

You need more more v-tec fluid.

 

are u sure that vtec is wired right vtec goes to plug a4 and oil pressure goes to d6 what model is the car??

It is wired correctly. The model is a DX, it throws no codes for vtec at all.

Thanks bro ill check it out. Its possible about the solinoid but i have an extra i swapped it out and nothin.

i have a 99 si and it would hit vtec..was told vtec is powered by oil pressure..i changed the oil and it hasnt done it again since!

 

what weight of oil did u put in it

 

I run 5-20 just changed it got fresh mobil oil. I did a pressure check oil pressure is great, Thanks for all the replies. Anyone else got some useful info that could help me out!?!?!
