If Keith Codes school would be more like Skip Barbers it would be 10 times better and thats talk to the individual, give them individual attention and work on the skills they need to improve on!
Is it possible that maybe you just had a bad experience? Everyone who's left reviews on Kawiforums seems to have had the exact opposite experience... Very personalized to each individual rider, but hey, maybe things have changed one way or another. Matter of fact, Keith and Dylan have both posted in the past helping riders with techniques on KF.

Not at all, we had a good time there, just the instruction was less than expected for the money you spend...... I just expected for the money and the name "Superbike School" for it to infact be a Superbike School and I honestly felt as I had more insturction and learned more from Aaron Stevensons' Cornerspeed school Many many years ago and Team Promotions' Advance Rider Training classes....... We spent 2 days with Keith and his instructors and again like what was stated before, I was out riding there instructors and felt as if they had nothing to offer as far as advancement for myself. If I were a new rider and was learning from the ground up then I believe that Keiths school would be a good place to start!

Maybe perhaps one of the main goals of the CSBS is to teach safety and technique before speed? I know mark from TMP who instructs on the 500, you have probably seen him. Always ragged on me for going to fast when I should be practicing technique even though I felt like I should and could be going faster. I know you have MUCH more experience then most people on these forums, I just wanted to throw that out there in a polite way.

Agreed, you should always start with safety and technique, but what im saying is for the individuals that already have that down to advance and when you advertise "SUPERBIKE SCHOOL" i expected more from the school for advance riders!

I sold my trackbike back in december with wants to get my money situation straighter than it was, so that I could really enjoy riding the track. Im really fighting hard not to buy another track bike, there are definitely a few on the net right now that I have my eyes on.

Is anyone going to VIR this weekend with NESBA? I think im going to go down and hang out.

I think I'm going to do NESBA this year, but I haven't been able to commit to it yet for sure.

I rode with NESBA a few times about 3-4 years ago and I felt as if it were a FREE FOR ALL track event..... there was no organization or real instruction from the control riders. Team Promotion and Cornerspeed seem to be 10 times more organized and provide real instruction for students and track riders...... But I guess if youre just looking to go rip it an dnot learn then NESBA is the one.... who knows, they might have changed since I was last with them.

How much is it usually for trackdays at VIR? I've had a guy who races there told me around $1500.
