March 22nd Meet
wrong there were two supras one being my buddy's and the other being an EX CB7 enthusiast which came with his friend who still has his CB. he's even still part of out cb7tuner website. he wasnt confused at all..and to clear it up the STI's and evo's did show up but they were assholes and they did their own thing so no one wanted to go with them especially not me.i dont care that ur mom can afford to buy you an awd 280hp car with a turbo. that doesnt mean that u can actually build a motor. they are already built with speed and some of these guys need a reality check. to the rest of the RESPECTFUL evo and STI owners. it was nice meeting you all. and for some of you that showed and didnt know what happened to the meet. they left like assholes so i found you guys stranded and decided to take you guys to OUR meet to be a part of something that actually had a friendly environment.

The EVO guys were really nice people... I didnt know anyone there and they let me follow them there. They seemed okay to me. You seem to have a deep rooted anger towards evos.
actually ur right my thoughts were f***'d the evo owners were cool but some sti owners wers ass h*les..they saw one NICE civic lowerd carbon fiber and mugen(replica) rims and they go hey man why doesnt that civic park next to our sti's..cause he knows he doesnt belong here his cars too slow he knows our cars will whoop his and than co-signers go and agree and point and laugh even though they werent talking about my car i thought it was really gay..no the CARS INCLUDING STI's were awesome..specially the 2 wagons(drool)..but some of the younger owners(16-early 20 somethings) were real d*cks it was a VAdriven meet and they made other non AWD cars feel like they couldnt enjoy the meet aswell..but dont get me wrong because the STI's are one of my top 3 favorite all-time cars (22b) being my #1.
and were u the turbo miata? if it was NICE CAR!! and i think the other rx7 Series 5 (fc) was LS1 from the sounds of it..very nice cars..u guys should have stayed just because it was MOSTLY CB's didnt mean anything we had a nice photoshoot and cookout at Pohick bay park.

Not all evo owners are jerks....I know quite a few that are really nice folks.
Werent there just two evo's at the meet anways? But yeah, what park did you guys end up going to? Cus at first, it was me, cb7 spartan, and a couple of our friends who followed, then yall went some crazy way, so we decided to turn around and head to the cb7 meet.

But BPU+++ indeed sorry to inform..
BPU for the less educated =
Basic Performance Upgrade™ (BPU™). This terms was coined by our founder Mark Tozer to best describe the basic set of performance modifications on a 1993-1998 Twin Turbo Supra. Instead of having to type out every basic mod a car had, we came up with this term. In it's simplest form it describes a Supra that is running elevated boost. In more detailed form the original BPU™ consisted of the following modifications:
I. Downpipe. The downpipe replaces the factory CATS and allows for quicker turbo spooling and 1-2 psi of boost increase. Good for around 35-40 HP.
II. Aftermarket Exhaust. Anytime you can free-up exhaust energy in a turbo car it is a good thing. The factory 2JZGTE engine with the BPU™ mods can flow quite a bit of exhaust gasses. Most aftermarket CAT-Back exhausts are good for around 15HP+ on a BPU™ Supra running 18psi of boost.
III. Elevated Boost (17-18psi+). The major gain in HP and torque (up to 440rwhp and 410 ft.lbs of torque to the wheels) comes when you increase the boost in a Twin Turbo Supra. Increasing the boost can be done via a manual bleeder which allows for higher boost, but no control over boost levels. Manual boost controller, which uses a manual valve for adjusting boost levels (non-electronic). Electronic Boost Controller (most popular), which allows for in-cabin adjustment and regulation of boost pressure.
IV. Boost Cut Controller (BCC). The GReddy BCC is an electronics interceptor device that modifies the manifold pressure signal (boost) to the factory ECU. The Toyota factory ECU in the 2JZGTE Supra has a factory imposed fuel-cut at 1 bar (14.7 psi) of boost. The BCC is adjustable and alters the factory fuel-cut level so higher boost can be run.
Those four items are the foundation of the original BPU™ FAQ written for MKIV and typically produce anywhere from 440-500 HP (crankshaft) on both automatic and 6 speed 2JZGTE equipped cars. Numbers vary upon state of tune and vehicle condition but the formula works and is run in hundreds upon hundreds of Supras. This BPU™ term has become so popular throughout the world and the NET that it is often quoted in magazines and even by other car owners when describing a Supra TT.
