Well, that's the dilemma, i need to be faster than Daddy's so that I wont need to use his car - not that he ever lets me! But around here I think mine will do O.k.
I guess it just depends on what you race. There are plenty of cars around here that you wouldn't enjoy racing. Most of the guys with quick cars that I know of don't really street race though.

Like who, i've yet to see/hear about them. I'm always up for a challenge, especially after i get my car back when I send it out for the build up
I know most of the older/fast car guys dont like to race - maybe we could take it to the track if it's an issue?
If you don't mind me asking, what power are you putting to the wheels?
Right now, in the 300-350awhp range probably - only supercharged at the moment. So it's weak....
But that's all going to change when the car is sent off to HPA for the twin turo/motor build. I also may have them gut it/cage it cause that'll lighten it up. Their setup is good for 0-60 times less than 3.2secs so it should be quick - esp when lightened...my father will be pissed if it's gutted though
What do you mean by gutted? You do realize that a cage weighs a lot more than your plastic panels and your 5 pound rear seat. Putting a cage in it is going to add weight. Also if you think there isn't anything around here that will handle 300 awhp, you are very very wrong.
