After this past weekend, many people suggested they would rather travel to see a decent car show/event, so I figured I would see if there is actually some interest. I did some looking around and saw that BOTI (Battle of the Imports) was scheduled to be in Budd's Creek, MD on June 25th. Would anybody be interested in attending? It's just one of several events I'm sure, but I have heard they are fun shows to go to. It would be cool to see a bunch of people in the area get together and drive up. This is just a random idea I have, gives me something do this summer other than just working. If you have any other ideas feel free to share.....

Im down,me and a few friends went to NOPI up there last year.There wasnt as much of a turnout as i thought there would be,but the track seems to hook really well and everyone was pretty nice.Although i was pissed the whole weekend because sweet tea doesnt exist up there.

 

What?! no sweet tea? Guess they haven't got over the big boston debacle...I think Nopi is a little too much the "Fast and Furious" car show, but I've never been to a BOTI so I'm hoping its different. I saw on the DSM forums there are going to be a few 8-9 sec DSM's there so that would be cool to see, atleast on my part.

 

Im part DSM too!Lol,yeah the NOPI thing was a little riced for me.Most of the cars with an exeption of a few were way over done,we just took a quick walk around the show then spent most of the day trackside.The bikini contest sucked and the foam party was way over rated.

Sorry man they don't consider the 420a a DSM... I used to own one and I was shunned from that community...everytime I see the Nopi crap on tv and they pan to the foam party, its nothing but a bunch of fat girls with no teeth grindin up on some hillbilly crackhead

 

I dont generally associate my car with the DSM guys,but they accept me lol.As far as the fat girls with hillbillys,that was the most enjoyable thing about it all!All of the decent looking girls were no where to be found once the 350lb mexican guy started groping all of the 14 yearolds.It was slightly disgusting
