So I guess driving 1400 miles does not put any strain on a 1000 hp motor? I guess it could never affect reliability either right? 1000 hp is 1000 hp and should run flawlessly everytime regardless of mileage. I guess making several passes down the dragstrip could never affect the 750+ mile ride back either right? I guess making several(not just 2 or 3 runs here buddy) 1/4 mile passes could never cause the car to break once huh?
What the fuck are you smoking?
A 1000hp motor isn't exactly making 1000hp while cruising, now is it?

And you think that is more strain on a motor than running full out for a few HOURS (not 9 seconds at a time) and doing the same thing? One Lap of America is the EXACT SAME THING as Drag Week, but using a road course. If you thinkt hat Drag Week is more of a strain on a vehicle than road racing, you've lost your mind, or you got some good shit from WallysDA.
that really made me laugh. and sorry to hear about your mishap with your car.
No biggy, shit happens. I took the risk taking it there and trying to go faster despite it raining all weekend. I didnt hurt my instructor or anyone else, and to me that is the most important thing.
No one said it does. I am willing to bet a stock motor wouldn't be as stressed either. What is your point?
I was just trying to point out that cruising distance does not equate to stress on a motor. So 1400 miles doesn't mean the motor was stressed or making 1000hp for the entire trip.
