Who around here has done it? I don't like blinding people, I was un-aware of how an HID acted in a non hid headlamp assembly. People then told me "take out the halogen shield" Figuring..okay, I'll listen to that. Ha, what a joke.


I Was then told get any projector lens assembly. But the more I research it, the more I think that I have salvaged the wrong part. I found a eg in pick n pull that had projectors in it, I just smashed the headlights and got the whole projector assembly. Will this be just as sufficient as a TSX one or no? I just need more insight, since I actually cannot buy a projector housing from the factory for this car.

A TSX Projector would be better. If your looking to retrofit the Kit in there its some work yet its be done. Theres many DIY sections on the web that will lead you to the right path of finishing this project.

Iam getting ready to take apart my headlights and install the TSX Projectors as well.

Use these and take them apart to use the parts you need to make what you want. I dont like the whole BMW look other then a BMW. so its on you.

Yeah and more than likely the eg projectors you have are halogen projector housing

I want to retrofit some s2k projectors or fx45 bi-xenon projector into my headlights, but don't wanna fuck anything up. Don't mean to thread jack
