I found out when i pulled off my oil cap,oil looked clean till i looked at the bottom of the cap. Milkshake
,so i drained my oil and it looked like a vanilla milkshake.I already pulled the head off,but have work at 4 so it will be finished tomorrow.
Ok new headgasket, and it still wont start. It is getting fuel, and it has proper compression. It has a slightly weak spark, but i have 2 dizzys and its the same with both?
Now this is prolly the most stupid question i could ask,but i head of the ignition switch going bad and causing this problem.Im going to go get a new one,but with the switch do i need the key or is it a seprate part.
Still wont start!!!!!!
I pulled out the plugs and they were soaked with fuel,so i checked for spark and it was strong and bright, and i for sure have compression, anyone know what can cause the car not to start, electrical wise?
Such as a bad map sensor, oil pressure sensor, tps sensot, idle air control valve sensor, intake air temperature sensor, coolant temperature sensor?
I also noticed i do not have the valve cover groun,is that even an issue?
IE it was not running rough,i had just put in some plugs so it was running pretty smoothly, then shut off.
What could cause the dizzy to spark at the wrong time, other than fireing order and ignition timing?

You're getting spark, have proper compression, getting fuel, getting air... You've got a newer civic rite? I would try the crank positioning sensor down by the crank pulley. I believe that it electronically monitors the timing of the engine so a bad one could be causing the issue.

+1
Also had a prob with the camshafts around the same time (so a combo of the two?), but I would start with positioning sensor!
FIXEDDDDDDDDDD!!! the cam gear key way i guess broke and it threw the timing off,new cam gear all fixed!!!!!!
Now it starts fine, gets warmed up and then starts acting stupid, wont let me rev
