I am looking to get my front and rear seats re wrapped in black leather and would like to get opinions on any good shops in the area that would have a fair price and do a good job. I looked up shops in the area and these are what I've found. Just wondering if anyone can give any feedback on any of the shops below or possibly one not listed.

I can only give feedback on Howell's Upholstery on Aberdeen in Newport News. I know you're probably interested in something specifically in the Beach, but I can attest the quality for this particular shop.

what was the price, they just re wrapped that whole seat right?

 

As stated in the thread, I paid $150 and only had the driver's side bolster reconstructed and recovered. I was highly satisfied with the quality, professionalism and punctuality of this shop. I thought it could have been a little cheaper, but I guess you get what you pay for.

There is a place at the very end of Military Hwy on the airport side where we took the CVCC to get its carpet. Did a good job and seemed pretty reasonable. I just looked it up. Its called Young's Auto upholstery on Little Creek Road and Military Hwy.

And i do realize this is in Norfolk but it's not too far out of the way.

 

No problem. Like I said, I know you wanted something in the Beach, but this shop satisfied me and I'm pretty picky.

 

From what I've heard, they recently closed down, but the guy still does upholstery work on the side.

 

Really? Just took it there in January. Oh well they did a perfect job on it.
