snakeskin green Dodge Viper in Roanoke...
So I was at TLC on Apperson (I think) yesterday and I'm standing outside talking on the phone waiting for an oil change... Out of the corner of my eye I see a bright green car coming towards the intersection. It was a new Viper, in what I personally think is a gorgeous color--snakeskin green!
Don't get me wrong... I could generally give a shit less about Viper's, but they sure do turn heads with the quickness. I thought that was a pretty rare color or special edition, but maybe that's not the case? Either way, never seen it before in Roanoke, so I thought I'd post up and see if anyone else has seen it running around.
I also saw that pretty white Lotus Elise running around. Love that color on that car! On the very same road, I passed what I believed to be a Maserati GranTurismo (but it was a convertible.. did they make a GranTurismo vert???) but I think I know who that belongs to. There was an Aston Martin going up Mill Mountain this morning. There are a lot of nice cars in the Roanoke area, and it's about time they start coming out of the woodwork more often. I don't know how these people own vehicles like these and only drive them a few times a year.

I've always been a big fan of the Viper, but I haven't kept up with it the past couple of years. I had to look for an image to see the color. Very nice!

slow POS's. and before the nutswingers start, yes i have driven several. yes i have worked on several. and yes, i have worked on several race versions too.
any car that has a following that allows the main tuner of their cars rip them off like they do (Hennessy) is somewhat shatty.
main reason i do not like them is due to my large stature, and not being able to fit in them well, much like the C4 corvettes.
that being said, its still quicker that 98% of cars on this board.

...and has the potential to lay down some credible power.
I think for someone looking to go with hennessey, the price isn't an issue - they won't be worried about getting 'ripped off'.
