I need a favor...building my bike is kicking my...

Anyway, the latest hold up is the clutch cable. It is a stock '00 ZX6r cable and is 42" (3' 6") long. I need something about 4" longer. I have risers from a Kawi mule and bars from a CRF150. The brake lines are from a Z1000 that seem to want to work! I am sure that Kawasaki makes a clutch cable similar to mine that is a little longer (or at least I am hoping!). Maybe on the Versys or ZX750 or Z1000 or something else?

If anyone has something that will work, or any ideas, please let me know. I am jonesin' for a ride. Hell, I don't care if it is 40 degrees and raining!

 

I'll check the length on the EX500 clutch cable tonight. The ends look comparable to your picture, it's just a matter of length.

Hell, I appreciate it anyway. Found out that another buddy of mine did about the same thing and was able to make his stock cable work. He's supposed to send me some pics, so hopefully I will be ok and actually be able to ride this weekend!!
