able to blaze up a set of $400 rear tires in a heartbeat? fucking a.
More like $400 a piece... Plus don't forget they are crazy hot inside and not very comfortable at all. The early ones don't even have door locks...
It's just not a car for the masses.
I hate to admit it, but that kind of bothers me to see people driving above average cars like a Lotus Elise (at least in terms of pricetag) and living in an apartment. I mean, it's not my money, but why not invest in a home? lol
I totally agree,
But you also have to take into consideration some people may only be in the apartment temporarily. Around here you'll see $30-60k+ cars parked at townhouses and apartments off campus from Roanoke College students. In their case, everything is paid for, and the apartment/townhouse is simply a temporary dwelling place.
It could be a young guy with a Lotus who just has the apartment while he is in school or something waiting to buy a house later on.
But if he's in that apartment BECAUSE of his pricey car, then that sucks. Then it's all about their image as they stroll around on the street, and I bet they never invite people to their baller house where they keep their baller car.

He just lives here for work reasons. He still has some other states plates on it and and some more cars stored there
Damn I love vipers. I like the newer ones but I still prefer the body style of the early 90's.
The coolest thing ive seen here in Lynchburg is a silver NSX, yellow Prowler, and a Ford GT.
I never see many exotics around here but when I do, I have a stroke
Prowler??? I consider Prowler's to be about as exotic as PT Cruisers. Hate, hate, hate, hate, HATE THEM! What are they, like $70k? I grew up wanting to be just like my uncle.. He collects everything from antique cars, a few exotics, and lots of hot rods/street rods and Corvette's... I'd much rather take $70k or however much it costs and build a much better car for that kind of money all around. They're head turners, but they're garbage.
I've always hated the NSX too, but whatever, it's considered an exotic car by most people. It sure looks exotic at least. As for the GT, sure, I'll let you have that one...
