Integra cable clutch problems
So the car is a 91 integra.
I am having an issue with the pedal sticking to the floor and not coming back up. So I adjust the screw on the cable attached to the tranny and turn it up. If I go up too high the pedal wont stick to the floor but the clutch will not engage. If I go down too far it will engage fine but the pedal stays on the floor. There seems to be no in between I have messed with it for hours adjusting a 1/4 of a turn at a time with the same result.
Any ideas?

check your throw out bearing. if its broke you will have this problem too. you might be putting to much stress on it when you adjust it too tight but when you take off the pressure the broken nipple might not want to come back out.
possibly broken so would need to be replaced. the return spring on the assembly you should be able to see that when you look under the dash at the pedal assembly and look at the assembly where the pedal mounts that could be cracking too
