GPS locator and alarm interface f/s. Guaranteed vehicle tracking and location. Make sure to bring backup if you chase them down though. This will add on to any alarm system or will work with a car with nothing in it.

Garage would be the best way, although not the most affordable method for everyone.

Quick Release steering wheel

Fuel shut off

Immobilizer

GPS tracking for recovery

Where and how you park



Can any of those prevent it 100%? no, but it is better than nothing

Also how about a good insurance policy to replace the car if stolen, or repair if found and not totaled.

I always think before I park, "What would be the hardest spot to tow my car out of?" And than proceed to park there, turn and lock steering wheels so car will not roll out of spot, leave in gear, e-brake, so if they do tow it, it drags, and will create a good bit of noise.
