Default 240sx electrical question...

car is 1990 240...... s13 retop.

well the car wouldnt start, so i traced the problem to the EGI Pump relay (fuel pump relay)

replaced that....well now the car starts.... but when i cut the car off the turbo timer counts down like it should, but it hits zero, then the car sputters like its trying to die, but starts right back up again.

also, if you rev the car.. it stays at that certain RMP that you rev it to.

i literally had to stall the car out on purpose to get it to turn off....

WTF is going on..... someone help.

unplugged the turbo timer... and it will turn off... but when you start it up again then the engine immediately jumps to high rpm (3,000 ish) then when you let out the clutch it climbs even higher. (i dont have a tach so i have to guess)

Sounds like your turbo timer is wired wrong. Maybe tapped into the wrong spot. Good luck.

Or as we say at work "Customer states car broke, please fix."
or
This aint right... looks to be a little broket'd to me

First problem, its an sr

Second, your junk ass turbo timer is wired wrong, and yes I said junk cause their fucking worthless, and yes I have one, and I only use it for the volt meter.

Check your throttle cable and see if its binding up anywhere or not adjusted right. Check your throttle body and mess with it to see if its working correctly. And last but not least, turn the car to the on pos, and check voltage to your tps.

enjoy.

Sounds like a problem with the swap wiring if your vacuum looks like it should.
