Yeah, I forgot about a press. You can get a 12 ton on the cheap if you're on a tight budget, that will handle most jobs you're going to do in a basic garage.

please dont laugh at this question but... what would i use a press for?

lights are a must... along with heat. a/c and running water.

a press would be good for pressing bearings onto axles, pressing broken bolts out of shocks...comes in real handy

yeah and honestly i think after you buy material and shit i think you'll realize your budget will be met very quickly. also if you run electricity and water, you have to have a contractor to do that and permits and shit like that....which will hurt the wallet

actually, i've got the majority of my materials calculated... and i already have the door opener... and i'm only putting up 1 wall really so my materials will run me about 700 or so. i got a butt ton of MDF and plywood free so that will be my shelving and cabinetry. i have to get a permit anyway because nofrolk requires it... and the cost of the permit doesnt come out of my budget either! im a negotiator! lol...

Why a lift? Chest heights better than knee height when it comes to lifting. You still might be on your back but at least you start to move your arms around. When I do my oil the hardest part of it is getting my arm to a point where I can bend it at a 90 angel.

I was going to pay off the credit card enough to put a set of KWv3's on there, but I only got $20 back.
