Is there anyway to find out what kind of tongue weight either vehicle can support? Considering my trailer doesn't have a tandem axle, a lot of weight can find itself being supported by the vehicle itself. I don't want the ass end squatting or becoming really wishy/washy with a load on it. I don't know if ~100 pounds is enough, but I just want to be sure. I'm such a n00b to trailer pulling.
In all reality I would go for the Edge even though I swore off Ford after owning 2. IMHO FJ was built as a concept - Edge was built as grasping straw to give Ford a chance to compete.
FJ reminds me of Japanese built Jeep knockoff although it does have "RECREATION" written all over it.
I thought I saw a picture of the trailer you were going to pull and it was very rectangular looking. Reminded me of a loaf of bread on wheels. Guess I was a bit too ambiguous.
