Everywhere I have seen 07 Busa's they are asking 9995.00 I mean your bike is worth whatever you think it is but good luck finding someone to pay that for it.

Just put the 'busa back to stock, and part out the chrome. You will be dollars ahead that way.

I have been looking, buddy of mine bought a 04-05 r6 paid 4000 at a dealership out the door. Id like to find a good deal like that. 3500-4k for a low milage good cond bike is pretty hard. Most likely in the winter ill find what i am looking for.

How much do you think prices generally drop in the winter months? Im looking at different Honda F4i's right now and it looks like they sell for between $3800-$4200 for an '01-'02 in good condition with some extras. How much lower can I expect them to go come November?

Thanks.

i would expect around $3k. Not as many people ride in the winter months and put their bikes away. Then when money gets tight being that the winter months are slower than summer, people want out. I would buy around Dec. or Jan. That's when I've noticed prices are cheapest.

Ideally, I would like to wait until then. However, I, like most people, have the itch now. Ive signed up for the MSF course on 6/20 and want to begin riding shortly thereafter.

Maybe I'll buy a Ninja 500 to ride until winter and then graduate into something else thats more expensive, but that will be cheaper in the winter time (like a GSXR, etc). So I would have 2 bikes for a few months and then wait until spring to unload the 500..
