TSCC Auto-X, Sunday May 18th, ACU4 Little Creek
Well, aside from the wind blowing cones over, the weather was great
At least it was dry! Now, if only there was weather that would make me faster...
I'm disappointed I won't be able to make the June race... I'll be back in July for sure, though!
Edit: I took 10 minutes of video during the 3rd AM heat today if anyone's interested. Not the world's best camcorder, but hey, at least you can see the moving blurry blobs move around the blurry orange dots

Great event today! +1 for the weather, have to add sunblock/windblock to the pit box for next time. I pulled out a 51.30 not to bad for steet tires and a pure stock T/A.
I've learned to keep 15spf in the glove box- been burned on too many "top-down" days.
How in the world were people getting down to 42? (FTD going into the last run of the day was 42.071 w/ PAX: 36.258) Or, I guess the better question would be using PAX; a supercharger and racing tires certainly makes a difference, but the best PAX today was still 6 seconds faster than me, and I thought I had a damned good run.
What are the little things that separate the experts from everyone else?

That was my first time on R compounds and i was surprised by the lack of throttle feathering i had to do. Also the gears are so short in that car. I ran out of first gear before i hit the timing cones at the start.
